Need to get your class or training online fast? With just five simple steps, you can create and share engaging content in 15 minutes or less. Whether you're an educator, trainer, or coach, our quick-start guide will help you streamline the process and connect with your audience effortlessly.

If you're an educator, coach, trainer, or manager needing to efficiently share content with your students, clients, or colleagues online, follow these five quick steps to get started:

1. Choose a 15-minute segment of material

Begin by reviewing your material and identifying the critical takeaways or key learnings you want to share. If your content is extensive, consider breaking it into a series of short recordings. Segments of 15 minutes or less are easier to produce and more likely to maintain your audience’s attention throughout the session.

2. Select an online tool to record and edit your presentation

If traditional conferencing tools don't meet your needs for effective content delivery, choose a tool that allows you to record, save, and share your presentation on demand. Two options to consider are:

Loom

Loom is a screen recording tool that lets you present your material as if you're in front of your audience. It allows you to create engaging, concise recordings. Educators and trainers can take advantage of Loom's features to enhance their content delivery.

LearnMax

LearnMax is a cloud-based platform designed for a wide range of users, including enterprises, government agencies, schools, and individual educators. It supports both live and on-demand video classes, with additional features such as attendance tracking, chat interaction, and seamless integration with popular Learning Management Systems (e.g., Google Classroom, Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle).

3. Record your presentation

Once you've selected a tool, it’s time to record your presentation. To ensure a smooth delivery:

  • Use a written outline or brief script to guide your narrative.
  • Take your time, presenting the material at a steady and engaging pace.
  • Practice a trial run to familiarize yourself with the recording process and tool functionality.

4. Save your recording online

If your organization or institution doesn’t already have a content-sharing platform, large files like screen and video recordings can be challenging to share via email. Cloud-based storage solutions such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive enable easy sharing through links. Remember to configure link-sharing privacy settings before distributing your content.

5. Share your content

Now it's time to share your presentation with your audience! You can distribute the link through email, messaging platforms, or social media. For improved engagement, encourage your audience to provide feedback, which can help you refine and enhance your future recordings.
